The Bella Vista Boys Volleyball program is built on three core principles. Everything we do is centered on these principles. If you want to develop character, teamwork, and passion - then this is the right club for you!
This is what "Character" means to us:
Acting with integrity on and off the court. Treating the people around you with respect - teammates, coaches, teachers, referees, opponents, parents, and fans. Giving your best effort on and off the court.
When we say "Teamwork," we mean:
Being a good teammate on and off the court by putting the needs of the team first. Ensuring that your individual actions do not jeapordize acheiving team goals. Encouraging your peers and cheer loudly from the bench.
Playing with "Passion" looks like:
Competing with a positive attitude every day on and off the court. Finding joy in learning process. Playing with hustle and heart regardless of the score or expected outcome.
Coach Amy Stockett started playing volleyball in elementary school and continued to play competitively through high school. She began her coaching career in 2000 for Ponderosa High School with both boys and girls teams. Her tenue at Ponderosa ended in 2014 and she took a 2-year hiatus before coaching at Bella Vista in 2016.
Coaching is a family affair for her as she is the daughter of a very successful coach (wrestling Coach Richard Fox, Ponderosa). Amy spent many years with her husband as her assistant coach and coached through four (of her five) pregnancies. She has coached her four oldest (of five) children on volleyball teams at Carnegie and Bella Vista.
Her love of volleyball is trumped only by her love of coaching young men and women to become better people through participation in competitive sports.
In addition to being a well-know and respected volleyball coach in the area, Amy has been invited to coach in the Optimist All-Star match on a number of occasions and currently serves as a member of the Optimist All-Star Selection Committee. Amy has been teaching PE at Bella Vista since 2025.
